Corus incorporates three targets in Iberia

Corus, the dental prosthesis European leader, has announced that during the month of June it has closed the acquisition of three reference players in the Spanish and Portuguese prosthesis markets: Laboratorio August Bruguera (Spain), Carmay (Spain) and Sorriso Invulgar (Portugal).

Laboratorio August Bruguera is based in Barcelona and operates under the highest digital standards with a main focus in aesthetic restorations with a high degree of personalisation. Its founder, August Bruguera, is a well-recognised European key opinion leader in the prosthetics segment. August is a regular speaker in the most prestigious dental forums worldwide and has also collaborated with some of the largest dental products manufacturers. He will continue to work with the Corus management team in the design and implementation of innovative products/solutions.  

Based in Madrid, Carmay is a laboratory positioned in the medium-high segment, with more than 30 years of successful experience. Like in the case of Bruguera, Carmay is highly developed in CAD/CAM technologies and has the strongest reputation on implant restorations and orthodontics. Its managing partner, Victor García, has joined the Corus management team in Madrid. 

Sorriso Invulgar is a Porto-based laboratory positioned in the upper market, also specialised in personalised aesthetic solutions. The company was founded in 2009 as a family project, having experienced continuous and significant growth from then on. Its founders have joined the Corus team to strengthen the company’s Portuguese team and market presence.
